Ofsted Rated 'Good'
Each term you child's teacher will submit assessment data to you in our school report to parents. This will take the form of our TMPF Assessment System and your child will be given a TMPF Point Score.
Children in Reception Class, Year 2 and Year 6, will also receive assessments based upon the national statutory systems.
Reception children will receive a : 1(Emerging); 2 (Expected); or 3 (Exceeding). This is based on teacher assessment throughout the year.
Year 1 children will receive notification of whether or not children have successfully passed the Y1 Phonics Screening Test. These tests take place in the summer term.
Year 2 children will receive a Teacher Assessment of : Working Towards Expected Level; Working At Expected Level; Working At Greater Depth. They will also receive a scaled score (based solely on test) of between 85 -115 (with 100 being the national expected score).
Year 6 children will receive a Teacher Assessment of : Working Towards Expected Level; Working At Expected Level; Working at Greater Depth. They will also receive a scaled score (based solely on test) of between 80-120 (with 100 being the national expected score)
In addition to ongoing assessment throughout the year, SATs papers are also used to contribute towards the Teacher Assessment score which will be shared with parents of children in Years 2 and 6.
